Olivier Award-winning OperaUpClose bring two ferocious 16th century Queens to the stage in their new English version of Donizetti’s Maria Stuarda (Mary, Queen of Scots).
Donizetti’s powerful melodies will be performed in a new orchestration by Paul McKenzie for six singers, accompanied by piano, clarinet and violin at the Old Church.
