Free training and support for local businesses in Hackney

0

Do you run a local business and need some help in marketing or accounting? Do you need some help to get your business to grow? Allia Future Business Centre in London Fields is running its ‘Grow Your Business’ programme, and is looking for applicants in Hackney and Newham. It’s completely free to join, runs for three months, and will provide local businesses with the practical skills and knowledge to help them to grow and scale.

The programme launches on 16th January and runs until mid-April. The support includes specialist workshops and practical sessions, mentoring, advice, peer to peer support, and covers everything from marketing, accounting, HR, branding, legals & IP – to gaining and retaining customers.

All small local businesses are encouraged to apply: the programme welcomes those underserved businesses that are the bedrock of their communities; such as bakeries, corner shops, florists, chocolatiers, mechanics, seamstresses, jewellery makers, yoga teachers or artists.

Nivi Jasa from I AM NUT OK, a vegan cheese company who has taken part in the programme said, “Thanks to the programme we were able to focus on the growth of our business rather than just on the product. Highly recommended for early stage businesses who need help to maximise time and resources.”

The ‘Grow Your Business’ programme has been running successfully for two years, and so far, the programme has supported hundreds of businesses to grow their customer base, increase their sales and create local employment.

If your business operates in, or creates opportunities in Hackney or Newham, then apply by 15th January. To learn more, and to apply, visit: futurebusinesscentre.co.uk/grow-your-business
